Neighbours united as road connects Chisholm

February 9, 2024

AVID Property Group (AVID) has officially opened a new road connecting its Harvest and Waterford developments in the growth suburb of Chisholm.

The gateway linking Harvest Boulevard to Dragonfly Drive will be used by Harvest and Waterford residents, providing motorists with improved access and reduced travel times to Greenhills, Maitland and other key local amenities.m

This latest milestone comes just one month after the unveiling of Waterford’s custom designed Sales and Information Centre. Since the centre’s official opening in December last year interest in the $583 million-dollar community has boomed. In response AVID has fast tracked the release of 35 new blocks in the Waterford development to meet buyer demand.

AVID NSW Project Director Nathan Huon said AVID was committed to steady and sustainable growth in the Maitland area.
“This new gateway linking the two communities is just the beginning of a number of major construction milestones coming up this year,” Mr Huon said.

“With Maitland’s population continuing to grow over the next 20 years, Harvest and Waterford are set to deliver much-needed housing to meet demand in the region, as well as generating jobs through the delivery of the project.

With our Harvest development in Chisholm nearing completion just next door, we’re pleased to remain in the area to build on our well-established community relationships with Waterford.”

Harvest is currently home to more than 1000 people and Waterford more than 1875 people – upon completion in five years’ time, more than 4000 residents are expected to call the community home.
